About

A simple tool to trigger actions, without juggling ten different apps.

Where it came from

Firehook started with a very practical need: centralize commands and trigger them fast — including from the car.

CarPlay example: one-tap access to your actions.

Between eWeLink, Alexa, and all the different device vendors, nothing felt truly universal. I also wanted a straightforward way to run my n8n workflows or other automations (IFTTT, webhooks, etc.) without being locked into a single ecosystem.

The idea

I began with a prototype, then built a more complete system — keeping it intentionally minimal: buttons, hooks, done.

  • You set up actions once, then trigger them whenever you need.
  • It works for very simple things (opening a gate) and for more advanced workflows.
  • No “magic” promise — just a practical tool.

In real life

At home, the whole family uses it: opening the gate, announcing arrival, running a routine, or simply avoiding the hunt for the “right app”.
